2-01   Embracing Jesus as the Divine Physician
Michael Ruzicki

Jesus healed – mind, body, spirit. As the crowds sought to be cured near the Sea of Galilee, we also come with our own infirmities and frailties to be healed. During this virtual retreat, we take the time to reflect on the ways we have been affected by the pandemic — not just our own physical wellbeing, but that of the whole Body of Christ. By exploring Sacred Scripture and the Church’s liturgical texts, we begin a spiritual check-up and seek a remedy prescribed by Jesus the Divine Physician.

6-01  RENEW — Fan into Flame the Gift Received!
Sr. Patricia McCormack, IHM, EdD

“ . . . I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God that you received through the laying on of my hands” (2 Timothy 1:6). Like Timothy, we catechists initially responded with fervor to the vocation of evangelization. We eagerly embraced the call to witness as priests, prophets, and kings. We made conscious efforts to function as the hands, feet, voice and compassion of Jesus. Today St. Paul encourages us to RENEW – to stir into flame our early enthusiasm. This session (1) will offer creative practices that can serve as kindling wood for the fire and (2) suggest inspired mentors to walk with us into the future.

6-02   Renovados y Sanados por la Esperanza
Brenda Noriega

Breaking Bread Brings Hope.
There is no eternal hope in the world. The hope of a Christian comes from the sacrifice of thanksgiving, from the Lord Jesus who broke the bread at the Last Supper; he himself becomes the hope, so that all those who are willing to meet him will be healed even in frustration, and constantly Rehabilitation, because they will never lose hope!
